Remarks

The admission process takes place through the CENTAC platform. Each department varies with its cut-off requirements. Reservations are available for selected students if they meet the criteria. Students with sports certification can apply for admission and can avail of sports quota. University has the best admission process and no improvement is required

Course Curriculum Overview

I enrolled myself on B.Tech (electronics and communication engineering). The faculties of our department are all so skilled and experienced. The faculties of our department were so concerned about our education. The teaching methods are so good. As long as we are clear with the concepts the faculties were ready to teach us as many times. Exams are quite hard to clear and exams take place as said in the year calendar

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students can start attending placement drives via the college's training and placement centre. Many services and product-based companies offered placements such as Infosys, Zoho, l&t, Amazon, etc. Around 500 students got placed in my period of education. The highest salary package offered is 10 lakhs per annum. The average package offered is 4lpa. I got a place through placement drive and I'm planning to work with them

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of our university is comparatively less than other universities. No fees hike were done during my years in college. Scholarships can be availed for students who were eligible. Opportunities for internships were given to students.

Campus Life

Our university has the best campus life in all of Pondicherry. Every year in the month of September annual festival is conducted under the name of Rejour. Every department has its own tech fest. Every year sports day is conducted where students of every department compete against each other in various sports. We have many clubs in our university such as the literary club, photography club and etc

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
