Remarks

Eligibility is 60% marks of higher secondary in the commerce stream. The application form is available on the college website. Application fees is 4500 approx. This college will be reservation benefits available (obc, st, sc). I want the admission process should to be online.

I choose this course because my background was commerce stream and various career opportunities. There are lots of faculty members and average students. Faculty members' qualifications are M. Com, B. Ed, Ph.D., etc, and also good for teaching. They are very friendly and responsible nature. There will be newly semester system exam and 5 month time is some difficulty to pass the examination.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities in our college were so like commerce Department accountants, auditors, etc. Our college's faculty members give us various types of projects like surveys on the telecom industry, banking sector, about taxes.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission fees were rs.4000 to 5000 and the semester system half yearly was rs.700. Second and third-year admission rs.2000 to 3500. Here scholarship opportunities will be good like minorities, swami Vivekananda.

Campus Life

This college campus includes the annual festival, freshers day celebration, and various function days. The College library was good and there are lots of books available anytime. This college is many classrooms big, medium, and small. There are many activities are available like sports, and annual programs.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.
