What Students Say

Likes

Classrooms are good as in spacious and conformable.
English faculty is very good in my opinion.
Washrooms are nice and clean with washbasin.

Dislikes

My classroom is in 2nd floor and i get exhausted because of stairs.
College building is complicated, i didnt even know about few classrooms existed.
Canteen food is not great, i felt like it was stale.

Course Curriculum Overview

Time period of each semester is not equal at all which is not good for us because in one semester we are getting 8 months and for another we hardly got 3 months and thats really difficult for the students i feel.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fees was almost Rs 6000 including everything as in exam fees tuition fees and all, i dont know about other category student fees and i dont know about any scholarship as well. Recently we paid 1500 inr for exam fees.

Campus Life

The library is quite big and spacious very nice environment. We celebrate a department day every year where all the students of english department participates. Sometimes football tournaments are held.

Admission

Admission process was quite smooth and easy, nothing complicated at all because after my results were out i applied to many colleges but i got selected on this college first so i didnt wait to take admission and thats it.

Faculty

Faculty members are really good, mostly i know about english and they are really helpful and always ready to pour knowledge, bengali faculty is also great they are very sweet very helpful, better than i could ever imagine.

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Review of the college where i spend three long years and gathered every knowledge that is available there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
