Remarks
Just like any other NITs, we have to clear JEE Mains to get admission to this college. Reservations are provided as per the UGC guidelines. At least a percentile of 97 is required to get admission if you are another state candidate and it will be less for Delhi candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got admission to CSE back in 2019. We were a batch of 63 students, later some of the students left for various reasons such as getting admission to another college, gave JEE again. Per semester there will be 1 mid-term exam, assignments are given regularly and 1 end-semester. if there are labs for any of the courses - a lab exam will be conducted, lab assignments were given weekly and viva will be taken into account for a complete evaluation of your lab performance
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fee slab will depend on your annual income. annual income fee to be paid < 1,00,000 fee is zero but if your income is 1,00,000-5,00,000 then you have to pay 20,833 if your income is above > 5,00,000 then you have to pay full fee 62,500 if you're an SC/ST candidate you don't have to pay a single penny. besides that, you have to pay a registration fee per semester which is around 6K. Hostel fee per semester - 1400 Mess bill per month - around 3K
Campus Life
Freshers parties, and hostel freshers parties are celebrated once a year cultural ocassions, various conferences, and DJ Nights are conducted throughout the year Classrooms, Libraries are equipped with centralised ACs As long as you're on campus premises, Wi-fi can be accessed. Hostels are also equipped with Wi-fi The central library is one of the biggest in India. JNU stadium is as big as a football field. there are so many sports clubs and study clubs.
Hostel Facilities
A hostel room is for two members. facilities provided - study table, chair, fan, cot, Shelf. No attached bathrooms. if you're a south Indian you'll have a hard time eating mess food. But you'll get used to it. Canteens are available at every hostel. Registration for hostels will be done at the time of the admission process.
