Remarks

The admission procedure was quite simple as it was online you just have to do the counseling process if your percentage is above the cutoff criteria. All the important news regarding the college is released on its official site. There are reservations also but I took none of them. There is also a girl reservation quota here. The college fees are also not that high it can be paid by a middle-class family which means yes it is affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose this course because personally at starting I wanted to pursue a bachelor of science in chemistry but for which my percentage was less than the cutoff one so I had to choose another course. I searched on the net and took the opinions of others after which I concluded that I can take this course. Quite satisfied, I think a ratio of 20:1 is there for students and teachers. Also, the teachers are highly qualified here but some do not provide that quality experience in teaching rest overall it's great. The exams were conducted monthly and the level was also up to expectations. It was moderately difficult.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

Since I am a 2 nd year student I don't have much knowledge regarding inter ship opportunities here at Kalindi college but generally, companies hire people for positions like lab technicians, assistant technicians, or wildlife management-like posts.

Placement Experience

2

After 4 th semester generally students become eligible for campus placements but personally being a second year student i dont have much knowledge regarding the same but this is something I have heard from my seniors. A company named wilro once visited here and took my one freind for placement with 500000 package. My plan is to do a forensic degree in life science.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was easy to understand. The fees were around 60,000 for me I would say, may vary from person to person which was for semester wise you have to submit the amount. I don't know much about scholarships as I got none but there was no financial assistance or job I could get there.

Campus Life

4

Yes, there are many annual fests arranged here from time to time. One was the fashion show in which I appeared and that was a great one. The library is full of different books of all genres you would love to read. The classroom is a bit uncomfortable. Sports and extra curriculum are also nice overall. I used to play cricket. Our class had a Kalindi union group run by us.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
