Course Curriculum Overview

I always had a keen interest in mathematics and want to pursue it further as well. The teacher and student ratio are good as well. All the faculty members have great knowledge about the subject. Exams are taken frequently to keep up the pace.

Internships Opportunities

Big companies like Amazon, and Samsung provide job opportunities here giving a decent CTC to students applying. Projects are given to students to enhance their resumes and try to bag the best job they can get.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for the maths department is 10k (approx) which is quite affordable for everyone. Scholarships programs can be availed by students who are extraordinary in studies or belong to particular states (different for different scholarships) The college has a placement cell providing jobs to students.

Campus Life

The annual fest "Srijan" is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm every year by teachers and students. The 3-floor library has all the books that one can think of. Each student is asked to take part in sports, NCC, or NSS in their graduation. If the requirement Is not fulfilled they might not even get their degree.

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have pcm in 12 th and in also subjects i am best in chemistry so that's why I choosed it . And andc is mostly a science course college it has mostly science courses only . It has good labs facility most necessary for my course. We have exams per semester only which are average not much hard or easy .

Placement Experience:

The average placements is around 5 to 6 lpa. However, a lot students here prefer masters and so a very few take placements, we have a entreprenuerial lab here which allows students to start their own startups and a lot of companies do visit in campus and hire students also. However, my plans would be pursuing for post grad entrance exams if I did'nt get placement.

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college.
