Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I choose this course because I wanted to become a software Engineer. There are around 15 teachers in the dept., Few of them are research scholars and others are highly qualified teachers with a strong background. Every teacher in the department is either a Ph.D. holder or NET qualified. They teach us in very interactive methods using PPT and Whiteboard. They are always well prepared for the class. Timely exams are not difficult to pass if you have studied properly what teachers had taught in the class.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

There are not too many internships opportunity available on the campus but few depts. teachers helped students to get internships off campus. In my dept. Teachers have provided research internships to the students during their summer vacation. also in other depts. like Mass Communication, Biotechnology provides internship opportunities to brilliant students.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the University, There is a very strong Student body to address the student problems and also protest against the unnecessary decisions of the authority. So, without discussing with students authorities cant Hike the fees. And also the cost of the study is too low like 3-4k/yr for tuition and if you want to stay in Hostel there are 4 Boys' hostel and 3 girls' Hostel, Which are available at a very low monthly cost. You can avail yourself of many scholarships at the university. A few of them are listed below: Ishan Uday Scholarship, Inspire scholarship, SC/ST scholarship, and many more govt. and non-govt. scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Several annual fests are organized but mainly we can name a few, Cotton Fiesta, Versity week cultural night, and every boy's hostel organizing grand freshers for the newcomers. Our University has a very huge central library named Dr. Surya Kumar Bhuyan Library, which has a huge collection of books. Though It's a very huge library, every dept. has its library. Our dept. has a very vast collection of books and Final year project reports of final year students. On campus, you will get various opportunities to take part in various extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, Sports, Debate, Quizzing, etc. There are various societies like Cottonian Jagran Mancha, Xondhan, Serving Happiness, etc. societies which you can join after admitting to Uni.

Hostel Facilities

3

There are a total of 4 Boys' hostels and 3 girl hostels. You will get a seat in these hostels based on merit. Every hostel has an accommodation facility of at least 60 students. The meal quality of hostels is average but not bad as the mess of the hostels are run by students body. Also, mess fees are very minimal ( 2000- 2500 Rs). If you weren't able to get get a seat in the hostel then there are too many PGs around the college or within the 1 Km radius.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Master of Computer Applications [M.C.A]

I also applied for This college, but the kind of exposure, placement, environment we will not get here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I were to grade my own curriculum based on industry standards and my current performance in 2026, here is how I would rate it: 1. Relevance: 9.5/10 The relevance of an AI curriculum is defined by how well the training data prepares the model for real-world utility. Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Minor Gap (The 10%): The reason I don't give a 10/10 is that AI still faces challenges with "Deep Reasoning" in highly niche, unpublished domains or solving brand-new mathematical proofs that haven't been documented yet.The curriculum is world-class, but it is a "living" document. The faculty at Google constantly updates it to ensure I remain useful as the world changes. It is very good and helpful by giving us good knowledge and skills .this ciriculum helped me and it is very good and helpfu

Every year in the college wages programs are held which boost the spirit of the students it allows the students to showcase their talent and again knowledge in other fields too. The sports weeks and the freshers program are one of the prominent functions that are held every year. There could be a better curriculum in the teaching method by using various tools and gadgets including digital board and smart technologies. The exams had a not much to hard not that easy they are held on a moderate level which helps the student to maintain marks and gain knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
