Remarks

This is a mediocre college under MAKAUT. No improvement is needed for the admission process. Although I feel that management should be more active and helping. The procedure is quite reasonable but very time-consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically, I chose EE because I found it interesting during my Studies. Faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:30. Qualification of the faculty is only M.TECH some are only B.TECH. most batchmates felt boring and disturbed even being in class. They teach like vomiting all the topics learnt yesterday night. Exams were quite regular and not very hard to pass.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience

Final-year students can opt for the placement drive. The highest package was 3 LPA. The average package was 1.2-1.5 LPA. (5-10)% Students got placement. I planned for preparation various govt jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is almost 42k per semester. Fees hikes almost 1-2k per year. I was under the WBFS scholarship scheme so I had to pay only 2k / semester. Campus job is almost rare. They invited only some unknown pathetic companies which I didn't opt for. I only opted for the tech Mahindra poll campus shortlisted after various tests but was not selected. In one word don't go to this college if you expect a campus job.

Campus Life

They organised tech fest and annual fest in the month of September for two years of our term but there was no fest on 3rd and 4th year because of financial difficulties. the library is present but most of the book is outdated and not in good shape. Wifi was present but not for the students. Nothing special about sports and extracurricular just below average.

The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

My College Experience Uncovered.

The main reason behind choosing the college over other colleges is it's electrical department's history. The electrical department has received many awards, certificates for the projects development.
