Remarks
The admission process was pretty smooth and merit lists were coming out every week thankfully, I got placed on the second merit list. The application form can be found on the official University website and the fees are negligible there. The application date is around July every year for Masters. There is no entrance exam. The last exam's marks are considered cutoff marks. I did not avail any reservation. The improvement I would like to have is that they take too much time while complete the process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a knack for English literature, that is the reason I opted for Masters's in English Literature. The faculties are very helpful to the students. They take classes regularly and they are highly qualified holding Ph.D. degrees. The exams were always on time. It was somewhat difficult to pass, but if someone studies with concentration they can pass easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a lot of opportunities for scholarships like Vivekananda, Kanyashree, and Scholarships for minorities. The fees are very negligible. It was around 5000 per year. There is no opportunity for campusing.
Campus Life
The social life is pretty amiable out there. There is no ragging or any kind of discrimination there. The university has a huge library as well as small libraries for different departments also. Few classrooms have AC and the rest is good. There is a grand feast every year and department fresher's also arranged annual sports.
