My admission was through comedk. I got admission to civil engineering at Nitte Meenakshi institute of technology. My ranking for comedk was 9500. In 2014 online mode to finalize college for comedk was not available. now with the online mode, the admission process has become very seamless,

I chose this field as I was a PCMB student and entering the CS department without knowing the basics was a difficult choice. Faculty: student ratio was quite good. we had over 25 teachers for 200 students. Many of our professors have done Ph.D. and the basic qualification for faculty is MTech. Exams were on time, no instance of exams getting postponed or canceled. By studying textbook and class notes passing exam was not difficult.

Internship companies without stipend - simplex, brigade, purvankara, etc. My internship and Project is Pashmina Brook wood by simplex infrastructure and a learned lot of practical things at the site and we had to prepare a report on the internship.

since i was a comedk student the fee was fairly high, i had to pay 165000 per year. only govt scholorship was available and only for CET students, I personally did not recieve any scolorship ot financial assistance. I got job in Purvankara limited with 300000 CTC

The annual fest was Anadyanta in which all branches participated. It's a three-day fest and it was one of the best fests so far. Apart from the annual fest, each branch had its tech fest, We had a huge library with books from all branches available, but the number of books was limited. Normal classrooms with projectors, Those who were interested in sports would stay back after classes for practice. NMIT has a huge ground for sports. We had a theatre club, sports club, etc.
