Remarks

The college management is good. Every information is shared to students via email and sms service. There is a proper process for applying requests in college. There are feedback forms for improvement after every semester. Receipt is generated for every payment. Management takes care of campus to make it absolutely clean and smoke free campus. College looks after the needs of the students and provides leave forms accordingly. College management treats girls and boys equally, stringent rules apply for all.

Entrance Preview

Christ University conducts entrance test, then Personal Interview and Micro Presentation. One qualifies for personal interview after the entrance test. The micro presentation is the part where a certain topic is given and the student has to speak for about a minute. I opted for this college because of Christ University, Bangalore is among highly ranked colleges of our country. Here, the curriculum of BBA Course is different and better than other colleges, it has varied aspects along with electives, which a student studies to have knowledge from courses too. Here professors to put in extra effort to make us understand topics which will help in near future.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very encouraging. The first two semesters have electives inbuilt into the normal college hours. Other than this, if student has interest into studying some other electives too. They can opt for it via the college login. These electives take place after college hours. Credits are included in the mark-sheet of that semester. 3rd semester, the curriculum is based on making student have knowledge about all three electives of final year- namely Finance, HR and Marketing. 4th semester has subjects which helps to write research paper. Students are also made aware of information analysis software. Various sorts of projects are also done by students which makes them gain insight on entrepreneurship, Industry review, working in NGO for a few days and finally Research project in final year. There is internship in the summer vacation between 4th semester and 5th. Here a student has to work for a minimum of 6 weeks without fail. The students studying here go through rigorous process of learning and practical experience.

Internships Opportunities

Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley had come for an internship for BBA and b.com students. Thomson Reuters had come only for b.com students. The also have a similar process of entrance test and then group discussion and finally Personal Interview. Basically, they are given a certain lump sum amount as stipend as well as if the performance of the student in overwhelming, then a job letter.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and Job opportunities are high. If one has taken good care of his academics and has scored a percentage above 60%, which is nowadays the 'considered minimum' to get into any company, will get the job. Many a company comes for placements and outside campus placements are also high. The packages for companies which come into the colleges range between 2.8 lakhs to 7.8 lakhs in average. Many companies come with higher salaries too.

Colleges from round the country participates in the fests. The management fests are also held online associated with university in abroad, so students from all over the world participate in it.

Courses from professional departments are expensive, but college helps you pursue the additional courses along with the normal curriculum. Fees go on in descending way. Infact, seniors are ready to explain solutions or better ways to deal with issues juniors facing, in field of studies as well as other things.

Placement Experience:

Almost all of the students are placed in multinational corporations, and the education is seriously excellent. In addition, the college provides placement training, which helped students during their placement interview sessions. The average pay package offered to 80 percent of the campus's students in my class was 3 lacs per annum. However the highest package offered was 10 lacs. Every year, many students are placed in companies such as HCL, TCL, Infosys, Wipro, and others. I wanted to go for further studies so I did not appear in the placement drive. However most of my friends who sat in the placement round, got selected at multinational companies.
