Remarks

I gave MHTCET 2021 exam. I scored 96.07 percentile and was admitted through the cap round in Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. I got Electrical branch and I'm happy with branch and placements of my College. Talking about the application form it comes every year on the mhtcet website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm in Electrical Engineering Branch, course curriculum of our college is good. There is an overall development of a student. We get a lot of free time to develop our skills other than exams and studies. We get our weekend on Sunday and also on Saturday. The faculties and professors of our college are very helpful in every aspect. Exams are easier if you study honestly and attend the classes.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 85665 per year

Top companies like Amazon, Linkedin, Capgemini, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Vmware, Veritas Tech, Siemens, and many more companies visit our college. Many students get an internship in their third year of college and then they are offered full-time in the same industry.

Placement Experience

Our placements are excellent. The training and placement cell of our college have made their excellent record till date and there is doubt that it will be improving day by day. Our college has good records in the top colleges of Maharashtra. Nirf ranking of our college is under 200. Very good product-based companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft visit for On-campus hiring.

Fees and Financial Aid

As our college is autonomous students get lots of opportunities. Our college has a partnership with Siemens they provide scholarships to the students who come from lower economical backgrounds, scholarships of 2lacs per year That's the amazing thing. And after successful completion Btech students of Siemens scholarship get an internship in Siemens.

Campus Life

Campus life in Walchand is pretty cool, as the campus is huge you can sit in any corner of the college and feel the pleasure. Ajit Gulabchand Central Library in honor of the college. There are many clubs and club activities that are organized by college students. Being a part of the club and learning to talk and communicate is the best part that I learned here.

Hostel Facilities

The food in our mess is quite good. Mess food is Healthier and better than outside food. Hostel rooms are in good condition. In the hostel, three girls live in a single room. Hostel facilities are quite good and affordable for middle class people like us

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
