Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is Good and well planned for both getting knowlegde and from placement perspective as well. The teachers are not quite helpful regarding the placement but they try to give their best while teaching. It is based on the current trends in the markets and they also have specific lab courses to get hands on experience. More industrial visits and talks should be introduced, The timings of exams are good.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are multiple companies that offer internsjip and jobs to students. They mainly come for final year students and sometimes for ty students They provide a decent stipend fot students and a ppo opportunity as well

Placement Experience

4

The placement is pretty good but slow this year compared to last year. There are some really good packages offered by companies and some good development opportunities are also there. Average package for this year being aroung 8-9 lpa and highest offer on campus being 20lpa and offcampus of 52lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

For fy : Tuition fee: 15000 Development Fee: 39850 Other fee: 26000 CMD: 500 college 4170 Total: 85520 from Sy to Ly: Tuition : 15000 Development : 39850 Other: 26000 College: 3636 University: 434 Total : 84920

Campus Life

4

The overall experience is very positive. there are people that will help you out when ever you get stuck, they can be from your clubs, seniors or even mentors(faculty) There are all sorts of facilities provided to students and it is actually very helpful

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel is the worst thing when it comes to rooms, they renovated the washrooms this year they are good but everything is just worst. the rooms dont have good doors or windows, the ceiling falls off sometimes, my roommate was injured because of that once.

Admission

The reason being it is an autonomous college and recemmonded by my teachers from high school. It also has a good placement history and a very silent and positive vibe. The campus is really large and some of my seniors were here

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ration for CSE department for previous years was very low and it was easily visible but they have appointed now staff for now and it is working out good but only quantitatively not qualitatively. faculties like shah madam, momin sir are really good at what they do, they have the art of teaching I might say. there are some faculties I wont name them but they are not prepared for the lectures and sometimes we have to tell them that they have a lecture on our class. some members are not interested in what is going in the class they just stand there read the ppt and go away. There are 2 written exams mid sem : 30 marks and end sem : 50 marks and 20 marks for internals.

Night Life

4

Actually there is no night life in this area at all. No place is open for you to even get food after 10-10:30 pm. The hostel in-time for girls is 9pm and for boys is not followed but it turns out to be 11 pm the study room is open 24/7 for boys and ocassionally open for girls at night(during exam).

Placement Experience:

The placement situation at my college is really good. It is getting better all the time. At my college students can start getting ready for internships and placement training from the semester. Then most of the full-time job opportunities start coming up in the semester. A lot of students at my college get something called Pre-Placement Offers or PPOs for short through internships before the actual placement season starts at my college. My college students get these PPOs. It is a big help to them. Placement, at my college is a deal and my college students take it very seriously. A lot of known companies come to the campus every year. The main companies that hire people from the campus are NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank. Some companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini hire a lot of people from the campus. These companies, NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank are really good at finding the people for the job. Companies, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini also give jobs to students. The Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 are looking good far. We have had some results. The highest package offered to a student is 45 LPA. The median salary is 9.5 LPA. This is a sign because it means that most students are getting a decent salary. 86.3 Percent of students have been placed so far. The average package is different for each company and role. For example a software developer will get a package than an analyst or a data engineer. Students who get the paying roles usually have strong coding skills. They also have projects to show and they do well in their technical interviews and in Data Structure and Algorithms which we call DSA for short. Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 show that these skills are very important, for students. The college does not promise that every student will get a placement. It really depends on the student. Students who ta

The students can apply for placements from the 6th semester, but they have to complete the whole 8 semester to start working. Companies like L&T, HCC, J Kumar, TATA Projects are our major recruiters, many MNCs and other top company like to hire from NICMAR. The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.
