First Number College in Gujarat

It is the best college. Everything is systematic. Management is good. College is very strict about attendance of student. Parents are called for 1 to 1 conversation if attendance goes down by 80% monthly.

I am MEHUL PARESHBHAI THAKOR. I did B.Tech in Computer Science from NIRMA UNIVERSITY. I got admission in The year 2004 and passed out with flying colors in 2008. In 12th standard i got 62 % in science stream and i am OBC Candidate so i got admission.

Students who do Masters course in Nirma University are provided internship here. They can do the job of teaching students as part time or fulltime.

PLACEMENT is given by placement cell. Top class companies come here. Students who have 60 percentage overall are placed successfully in campus. At my time placement officer was Mr Sachin Sehgal. Placement is 100%. Companies like TCS , INFOSYS , IBM , ORACLE, EICHER , TECH MAHINDRA , Mazda and local companies also comes here for placement

Freshers party is arranged at the start of course. Festivals and cultural events are organized. ROBOTIC events are also organized in which students from colleges of all over Gujarat takes participation. I also took part in NIRMA ROBOTIS Event with my team. Our team made a ROBOTIC Car which was placed in Car Race.

Fees structure is somewhat high When I studied fees was Rs 20,000 / Sem. So for 8SEM = 4 YEAR = 1.60 LAC Fees. But nowadays fees around 1lac/ year. Fees structure is somewhat high these days but if you compare it with other colleges you will find better hopes here.

Yes .Good students but economically beckward get scholarships if they are eligible in documents and conditions given by college.

Gender ratios is m/f- 60/40 and girls are provided equal opportunities with boys. Student parties occur at the start of college . FRESHER'S party is organized at start up. Days are also organized with proper permission and guidance of university. Workshop are best in class.Workshop attendant is provided in every workshop to guide and take care.

Hostel facility is like HOTEL. Mess food is hygienic and safe and given by reasonable price.

There is alumni group of passed out students who are always ready to help others. On LINKEDIN this group is active. If you join this group you will get regular updates regarding Jobs, Vacancies and a kind of guidance.

NIRMA is now deemed UNIVERSITY. It operates by itself. Exam and all activities are arranged by Nirma itself. It has not to take anything from GUJARAT UNIVERSITY. Exam is very strict. At semester end there is a submission which is somewhat Hectics. We have to submit assignment and files.

I got admission from LD ACPDC Admission Committee that is operated by the government. When i took admission it was an offline procedure. But nowadays its online procedure and easy. Guidance seminars are arranged when 12th results come out in every district of Gujarat.
