VGEC as EMERGENT for SOFT-TECH

Course is actually pretty nice . Subjects are tought according to the needs but the problem is about they do not update course according to the needs like `right now everyone should know how to use AI tools well , these small thing should also include in it. Apart from technical subjects they also have communication , ethics , personality developemt as a subject too but with less credits.

Okay so all famous service based companies like TCS , Tatvasoft , Argusoft , Bacancy , L&T , silver touch , einfochips , infosys , torrent power . roles offered are software , EC , etc. last time stipend of 30k was been given to nearly 230 students in our college . companies maily asked for decent CS fundamentals and some projects you have made by own and there is aptitude test which they use to sort students at high point.

Yearly Tuition Fess - 3300 rupees for Boys and For girls it will be very less. Then exam fees will be 1700 rupees and 300 rupees was also for affiliation fees by university . so roughly fess will be around 6 to 7.5k rupees. admission fees we have given was also 300 rupees for acpc counselling and for TFWS students(tuition fee waiver scheme) tuition fee was deducted. And for merit based there was one scholarship named Digital Gujarat scholarship which was given around 10k rupees every year which covers our extra expenses on books, lab equipments,etc. Students who does not get fail in any semsters will get scholarship and these scholarship was for EWC , OBC/SEBC , SC and ST caste.

Okay the events i participated was Vishwacup which is sports cup of our college . Different soprts were played in that cup and facilites were also good for it . In library , when you ID card you can get books to your home for some days and then you can take it further also just you have to register it again and all types of books regarding syllabus wil be there in Library Talking about classrooms you will get decent classrooms and different blocks for every dept. infrastucture is also much good. yes there are many clubs like motorsports , GFG clubs , IT related clubs , Plcement Support Club , E-cell, etc

In ACPC counselling , I applied to several Tier-3 and Tier 2 colleges but the most decent one was this at time. i can get several colleges in Gandhinagar as TFWS seat but their placements are not pretty well to be taken there and placements in this college was best from the colleges i can get admission so i prefer to take admission here. one more thing is i also applied to tier-1 colleges but my percentile and rank was not enough for it. i got rejection from NIRMA University. To get admission in my college , you should have Good Board Exam Marks and Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) marks and based on which ACPC counselling was done. if you want admission in ICT in VGEC as OBC you should have rank under 5 to 6K which is pretty easy.

faculties have very good knowledge and experience of their respected subject and yes not only book knowledge but practical and industry knowledge which they share us everytime . that things helped us much in our subjects . faculties we liked the most was Jashwant Dave Sir (from IT Dept.) . sir was just awesome in explaining complex topics of Object Oriented Programming(OOPs) into simplest application terms so that we can relate it well. Talking about exams for every subject , we have class test (2 or 3) , 1 mid semester exam , 1 viva and practical exam and 1 last end semester examination.

Our college time is 10 AM - 6 PM and there is no facility of GYM and CAFEs but yes we have Library. I am not much sure about Hostels but there is llimited time to get in hostel . After 8PM no one can go out or in in hostels and yes there are separate study rooms in the hostel too. famous hangout place is PVR near us , we have many renown hotels and cafes near us which are best hangouts near college and yes there are turfs which is most preferred by boys. yes it is definately safe to roam around their in night , area is completely developed and safe.
