The Rashtriya Raksha University which is known for security and defence purposes provides a unique course which is B tech CSE with specialisation in cyber security. This course is very rare and available in very less colleges. Cyber security is an emerging field in upcoming years. The curriculum prepares students for professional challenges especially in fields like National Security and Governance. There is two exams per semester which are Mid Sem and End Sem and the difficulty level of these examination are moderate.

The placement cell of Rashtriya Raksha University provides a good internship opportunities mainly in Cybersecurity firms and in government agencies. Most of the students of our college are doing internship at DRDO and other high level agencies. TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Amazon or other MNCs provides internship as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Penetration tester and many more. The average stipend provided by these cybersecurity firms is around 20-35k / month. Projects and outcomes: Students identifies vulnerabilities in web applications and proposes solutions. Works on real time data to detect cyber threats and finds solutions.

The placement of Rashtriya Raksha University is good infact the placement rate is much good. Around 85-90% students get placed through campus drives. Other students either opt for higher studies or pursue for certifications like CEH, CISSP etc. Students become eligible for campus placements in their 7th Semester. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys and Cybersecurity firms visits the campus and offers good packages. The average package of this college is around 8 lakhs. The highest package is 18 LPA and still counting. The profile offers includes Cybersecurity Analysts, Network Security Engineers etc. I aim to secure a Cybersecurity role in top MNC's and further enhance my skills through advanced certifications.

The course fee at Rashtriya Raksha University is Rs.82,500 per semester which is Rs.1,65,000 per year. The caution money is Rs.10,000. Other charges like development fees,lab fess etc are minimal and are included inside the course fees. There is no fee wavier or scholarship on the basis of category unlike IITs or NITs. Hence, the fees of all my batchmates is same. There is exam-based scholrship for all students at RRU. Top 5 % students get 100%scholarship , next 5% get 75% and the following 5% recieves 50% scholarship.

Typically two main fests are held at Rashtriya Raksha University. One is Rangratri which is held in the month of October during Navratri which is celebrated for 10 days and the other one is Aarambh which is held in the last of December or in the starting of January. The library is well occupied with large number of books, journals and research papers. We have the digital access of our library which has a wide range of e- books which are easily accessible. The classrooms are occupied with smart boards, projectors, high-speed wi-fi and air conditioners. Campus has a wide range of sports facilities including a large sports ground. Clubs like Qalavant, Natanam, Incubeta, GDSC, Cybersquad etc are available for the students. The Non-Technical Clubs are completely run and led by the students whereas Technical Clubs are run by the students under the guidance of proffesors.

We have a clean well- maintained rooms with 24/7 wifi facility. They provides us with a bed, study table, study lamp, chair, wardrobe etc.. We have the availability of hot and cold water for 24/7. The hostel food is quite good in comparison to other colleges. It is providing us nutritious meals with a rotating menu including breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Students can apply for hostel accommodation during admission or at the starting of each semester. Hostel fees are reasonable. Rooms and PG are available in Dhegam at low price. However it is advised to hold inside the campus only.

I chose this college over other colleges due to its unique specialization which is cybersecurity. This course is focused on topics like Cryptography, Network Security and Ethical Hacking which is highly demanding in today's digital world. This curriculum prepares the students for real world challenges like Cyber attacks,Cyber threats etc. The JEE Mains cut-off for this college is moderate as compared to NITs. It is around 94 percentile. The admisssion is completely on the basis of JEE Mains percentile and you must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your 12th standard.

The faculty to students ratio is quite good here. The faculties are easily approachable. Students can easily contact their faculties at any time. Proffesors like Dr. Chandresh Parekha and Dr.Nitin Padariya has a great teaching method. They connect theoretical knowledge and practical applications wisely. Majority of them are PHD holders and has a great experience in industries and educational fields. The course consists of eight semesters which is four years. Each semester have two exams which are Mid Sem and End Sem. The final marks includes internal,assignments,projects,viva and the written exam's marks. Around 5% students face difficulty to clear their exam often due to lack of their attendance.

The library of our college is accessible for 24/7 allowing students to study at late night. Gym have a fixed timetable only accessible in day time. The whole campus including the cafeteria is open for 24/7. The hostels are clean and equipped with 24/7 wifi facility, hot and cold water..... We have famous hangout places like Lakeside area, Lakecafe, Hostel side Cafeteria... Students can leave the campus after 6:00 a.m and must return by 10:00 p.m.
