Likes
- professors and staff is very polite and good, they are very supportive.
- labs and classrooms are huge and has very good facilities like smart boards, computers, wifi, and AC(in labs)
- the library is bit old but it has enough space and books, students can find their every acdamic books
Dislikes
- there is nothing to do during collage days, just study all time, not fun activities like playing, social groups and other things. they don't let you sit in campus even, they follow a basic rule sit in class other wise leave the campus.
- the environment of collage is feels like i am in school not in collage. rules are very strict.
- one last thing, there is canteen in collage but they don't let you sit and enjoy with your friends expect break time
Course Curriculum Overview
now its totally depeneds on the person to person, for me most of the subjects is good because i studied them by my slef from chatgpt, youtube and online documentations. and they are very helpful while i started working in industry. they are give you enough knowledge to get 7-8 CGPA. during my acadamics i have 2-3 subjects like software project management and other theory related subject but now i know how much they are important in real life.
Internships Opportunities
no, seriously no internships provided by college i have found internship by my own. many of faculty members dont even know the technologies when we goes for review and submit our internship work and documnets , they only care about PPT and documents, even they dont read it.
Placement Experience
this is tier 3 collage of surat so don't expect higer placements and big mnc come for the placements, in my placements they commited over 25+ local companies come from surat but actually only 15 has come and only 20 students got placement accross over 200 students(computer + IT). and the average placement is 2.5 lakh oper year. and most of the companies are red flag because they want students to sign 1-2 year bond with very low salary. then lets about training for placement, its ZERO big ZERO they dont provided the placement training, i have seen 90 students from 120 gets failed in apptitude round. they have not provided training for cracking the coding interview only those students are placed who have done preparation by it self even 9+ CGPA students didn't get placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Bechlors of engineering fees for me is 73000 per year, but for they have increased fees around 80300 for newer addmissions. Apart from that thier is another fees for library and extra activities which is 7000 for me but, its refundable after the completion of program. fees for all categories students is same. thier is multiple scholarships available for students but they are not provided by collage its provided by gujrat goverment and other organizations but admin staff provides documents and guide for apply and get scholerships as per my knowledge the major scholarships one student can get is TFWS quota it has only 6 seats in program and students will get 100 free education who are eligable while gettting admission then students who got more than 80% in 12th get 50000 or 50% scholarship per year then every student get digital gujrat 20000 scholership
Campus Life
let me give you clear answer if you are extrovert, party person dont take placement in this collage. they only organise sportsweek and annual function once in a two year. library is good you will find every acadamic related books in library. tech things like labs and computers and machinary is veyr good but you need guts to learn. in normal days/collage days they dont organise sports activities
Admission
i only applied to for this collage because its is closest to my home campared to other collages in surat. i am located at sarthana jakatnaka,surat and i totally suggest this collage to the studets who are leaving in varracha. beacause first thing it is naac accraded collage, second it falls under GTU and major benifit is the result of this collage, every time it gets 1st rank in south gujrat zone(GTU). so thats why i choose this collage
Faculty
-First lets talk about faculty-to-student ration which is very good like 15 students per faculty members and most of the faculty members do care about students future. they guide them for better study and lifestyle. - i have good relation with every faculty members but one of my closed once are vidhi ma'am, and hemangi ma'am they good at teaching and they also helped many students who did't get placement. - their is no faculties who i didn't like, as i said before i have good relationship with all of them - as per my program there is 5 exams during semester --> mid semester exam, remidial semester exam, internal viva, final exam, and external viva. yes all exams are not much harder to crack if you have followed the syllabus.
Interview Experience
No there no group discussion and interview for addmission, They give addmission only based on 12th,jee,gujcet based addmission so basically its only merit based addmission, There is another way students can get admission is management quota. So no interview based addmission at all.
Night Life
this collage is located in centre of city so there is gym, cafeterias, malls and theators are there but there is no hostel in campus and around the campus. there is parks, zoo , malls and diffrent diffrent public places so students can chill out and get relaxed.
