Dislikes

The location of college is very bad like no transportation service within 1.5km
There are very few facilities available like library have only 16 seats.

Course Curriculum Overview

As the Computer and tech industry is rising that's the reason I have opted for Computer science and engineering course. In initial sem there is engeneering mathematics and physics and for future purpose we are also taught Indian constitution where patents and contracts are discussed which are helpful for work life in future.

Class Size: 86Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't have much idea about internship Sher as a 1st year student but I have heard that the intership here are paid as well as free, Companies like Oracle,paypal,google etc ,are there for internship and placements.

Placement Experience

From 8th semester students are eligible for placements but prior of this they get internship chances which can give them placement opportunities in future because of experience. There are around 80+%placement rate .

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first sem I have paid 90000 fees . There are no scholarships from college side,although there are from government side like nsp(only OBS,SC,ST) etc . There is no scholarships based on acedemic performance.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in college covering multiple niches like startup and buisness, sports club, cultural club, drama club , coding club, etc. They frequently organise program for student interaction and social improvement.

Admission

As this college is goverment funded an included in Institute of National Importance Which outstan this in compare to other private colleges also we gat many opportunities and support from government schemes here.

Faculty

Facilities here are very nice we can share any problem with them also the director is very responsive. There are 2 main exams mid sem and end sem and two quizes prior each exams. And practical exams also conducted.

LIfe and Learning at PDEU

Placement Experience:

At PDEU, students become eligible after the 7th semester for the campus placements . Many top companies like IBM, Cognizant, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , TCS and many more. the highest package that went in my batch was 13-20 LPA whereas the average package is 7-8 LPA as per the company and profiles. Mostly 80-85%of the students got placed every year. Some students also goes for the higher studies or for their family bussiness.My plan after getting the degree is to join a AI/IoT company at better package.

Placement Experience:

My college provide internship and placement from 3rd year of course and student must not have any pending backlog in placement cell. There is many company come for recruitment if i give some name is torrent power, TCS, E infochips, adani power many. The student get highest package is around 20 LPA and the avg package is around 3 4 lpa and around 70 to 80 percent student got placed every year. I also planed same first i want to get placement in any company and then after some time i want to published my startup

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024.
