I am in mechanical department this is the most powerfull stream in engineering for me as im intersted in the research work.
There is a excellent opportunities for job because this is the best college in a south zone of gujarat technological university.
Reliance digital network jio fiber industries tata digital adani power birla technology here all the above companies are top placement offers and career growing companies the average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs per year

Dislikes

Placement is very bad comparing other engineering colleges.this is the list of companies which visited to college in the year 2015-2016: gemini communication,sheth design consultants,artoon solutions private limited ,idea to working, kintu design pvt.
Hostel facilities are not available in our college this problems are due to the location of the college.
Labs are bit of disappointing because insufficient space , systems are not in working condition , old instruments and systems.

College is very strict about bunking the lectures.
The college atmosphere is much good and feeling positive.
Boys boys and girls ratio is like 65% boys and 35% girls.

Dislikes

College is rarely focus on students sports skills. They do not allow to play games.
This college have a uniform which we have to wear daily if we do not wear uniform then we have to pay penalty
There is not a good canteen also. We have to go outside of the college when feeling hungry.

College Campus is very beutiful it is full of grass , trees etc. And College faculties are very supportive. Faculties teaching method is best.
Our college has help to student for placement and internship also.
College have 4,5 computer lab, Each subject have private lab are available.

There is nothing, We don't like about our college

Campus placement is available in our college Most of students get plavement it means 80% to 85% students get placement After 3 year student get internship and then student get placement . Lot of companies come for placement like Tata, Reliance etc... Our college placement ratio is Lowest placement package is around 2 Lakh per year average placement package is around 3-4 Lakh per year And Highest placement package is around 6-7 Lakh per year.

The Best Collage which is located in Surat City for Engineering

Likes

Huge and good air circulation, every class have 4-5 huge windows.
every class have smart board and wifi facility
faculties and staff members are too supportive and give helps into every students's doubt

Dislikes

The class have no air-conditioners, so collage needs to add into every class
While my admission time, they refused to give admission as i want to study only one year, there is no regulation about it in GTU.
Toilets have no proper water, always there is problem of water

Mostly, every year for 7-8th semester's students plenty of companies comes to collage for placement and overall, Computer Engineering have good placement as 4.5 LPA average, Also, Collage have special faculties for bringing company's to collage for placements and internship, also they help students whenever students need help about their placements related issuies

The boys and girls ratio is quite even and there is no problem regarding that in my college
The professors are understanding and make sure they upskill us
The development courses given by the seniors to the juniors

The management somethings are slow and time taking in the college
Less amount of activities and the new commers sometimes don't know when to participate for certain activities
Techfest is not yet announced at the college and I am hoping for it soon

Faculties are supportive ,Like all have completed masters in respective branch
Parking facility is good enough , good enough for 2wheelers and 4 wheelers
Labs are newly formed so Computers configuratios are good but internet connectivity is slow.Pc has i7 12th gen and 16gb ram

Dislikes

Canteen facility is not so good ,only few items
You can not seat in any campus area in your free time management is saying that only attende class or Go to your home no matter you like to attend or not every where watchmen will told you to leave campus or go to your inside building
No proper facility of wifi for students like it is present but not speed

Companies like case point,hency, stpl and other some local companies that are from local areas of Surat are coming for placement in this college. No any high MNC companies.You are eligible for placements from semester 7. Mostly the company we are visiting are the tuition classes and the company which are products are developed by the students as well as some developers. They are not properly a company which are only doing product development. As mostly visited company is like tuition classes. We haven't visited any professional companies like IBM, Google, Amazon or anything. A company which is only it development based company. Here in our college we get maximum package of 7 lpa which was the Max package who only one or two students can Gate and on an average all students gets packages of 3 to 4 lpa with the higher level bonds like you cannot live company and company can lay you of any time. Mainly 70% of students getting placement every year. Only 30% students are which are skilllessThey cannot get placement . I am currently preparing for GATE exam so if I go to good scores when get exam so I will continue pursue masters degree but not from this college. I will consider any other college for masters and if I failed in this GATE exam I will continue my placement from my college or any off campus placement which ever I got higher offer
