Remarks

The admission process is simple and based on the Jee main marks and percentile. Although it is required to fill out the GGSIPU Counselling and register yourself to be eligible to take part in counseling rounds conducted for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good and overall decent faculties are present here and the exams are end seems which are happening twice a year and mindsets 1 month before endsems. Also, the teaching method of the faculties is nice here.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the fees do not hike here every year. Also, the students can avail of the scholarship up to 100 percent as this institution comes under the Delhi government scheme under which they prove financial assistance to the students.

Campus Life

Campus life is also decent. There is a library which is an average one and the classrooms are also good and equipped with all the necessities. But, the sports facilities are not up to the mark here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

I applied in Bennet University,JIIT, Amity University and GGSIPU. I got into all except jiit, i chose ggsipu as MAIT is the number 1 ranking college in ggsipu. I couldn't be shortlisted in Jaypee institute of information and technology as i wasn't able to pass their Jee criteria. why i choose this college - for my jee mains rank (air 67890) this was the best college that i was getting in delhi thats the main reason i chose this college.
