Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum - mostly relevant but 1st year is way off. first year syllabus is outdaed and many subject doesnt have anything to do with the branch we have taken. improvemet- more hands on , project based learning and industry visits would be good. mid sem = 40% end sem = 60% exams are not hard, we can get 8+ easily if we submit assignments on time.

Internships Opportunities

3

there are various societies like byte, career development cell CDC, startup sphere, iosd etc taht help in getting internship and can also provide lor. they work on real life projects and also go to a lot of hackathons and also organise hackahons. projcts like zeber - online eb platform or campusstre where college essentials can be purchased etc are created and are also being used. i

Campus Life

3

fests are organised well but not too crazy, though dtu is veyr cose to this college and they do amazing fests and event so its not that big of a problem. library of mait is very good. it is a multi storey libraty with a large collection of books and research papers. it has self study area in top two floors ,and a pc cafe in ground / 0th floor. sports is not a strong point of mait but they do have a badminton court, basket ball court, a common ground for volleyball, football etc. there are a lot of societies but the popular ones aur csi, startup sphere, byte, rotaract, jatayu, edc, cdc etc.

Admission

why i choose this college - for my jee mains rank (air 67890) this was the best college that i was getting in delhi thats the main reason i chose this college. I applied to colleges like dtu, nsut , usict - cse but didnt got selected , i didnt want any branch other that cse and specializations thats why i chose this college. admission in mait or i should say any ggsip college is through ipu counselling . some of the colleges also take admission through donation. they have few seats reserved for that.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio - 1:30 around Teachers are generally approachable and supportive. they help with academics and projects. no teacher in particular i dont like. best teacher for me is mahim sharma and uk jha. each semester has 2 midsems and 1 endsem, 1 endsem practical and internal practical. weightage - 40% internals and 60% externals

Night Life

4

campus niight life is okay . gym is provinded in college but only for hostel students. there is 1 main canteen and several food outlets. library is open from 9:00 am to 5/6 pm on working days. hostel and campus timings are flexible. famous hangout places inside collge are nescafe outlet, amul outlet and stands/ground. there is always something entertaining going on at stands.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.
