The admission process was easy. I have given a MHT-CET as an entrance test. It was an MCQ-based exam. The cut off was 70 percentile. During the application process, forms were filled online. Yes, colleges do provide reservation benefits to students.

Mechanical engineering deals with the study of mechanics, machine study, thermodynamics, hydraulics, etc. I was very fond of OG machine study. The student-faculty ratio is well maintained; each student gets proper personal attention for academic help. All the faculties are well qualified and have relevant experience in the teaching profession. During every semester, sessional exams are conducted.

Cummins has provided us an internship during the 6th semester. Various roles were offered to the students. We have done projects in every year of college as mini projects and major projects. The college and the department were very helpful. They supported us in every aspect with proper guidance from the project guide.

Students in the sixth semester and above are eligible for placements. This year, 55 companies visited campus and offered 90 on-campus placements to students, with the highest package being 12 LPA and the average package being 6 LPA. Around 90 percent of students are placed through on-campus opportunities. My plan after getting a degree is to join the company which I got through college on campus placement.

Fees are affordable to the students and various scholarships are provided by the college, such as the Cummins Nurturing Brilliance Scholarship, Leela Poona Scholarship, student excellence scholarship etc. Financial assistance is provided by the college to the students.

Ananaya is the annual fest and Tectonic is a tech fest. These are conducted in the month of January. All kinds of books are available in the library; the journals, the reference books, academic books, etc. Sports events are also conducted in college, as well as all the extra-curricular activities are also conducted. Material Advantage, Mechanical Engineering Girls Association, Thermo Aperients club, Mech Designers club, ISHRE, etc. Such chapters or clubs are run by the students.

Hostel accommodation is provided by the college. The hostel is on the college campus. The rooms are very clean. All the facilities are provided by the hostel, such as clean drinking water, electricity, washroom, and geyser. The food quality is also good. The menu chart is prepared by the students themselves. Hostels are really very affordable.

A written test was conducted. The criteria for admission was a cut off based on the exam. The admission process was done in the college itself. The admin department was very helpful throughout the admission process.
