It will be preferable if you come from a science background to be able to pursue this course. There are several scholarships available based on your performance. You have to give an entrance exam called AUAT, based on its score, you can avail scholarships and concessions.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to study forensic science because I found the profession very interesting and as well as thrilling. Also, this is a budding profession in India with a lot of potential in the future years, so choosing this line seemed beneficial to me.
Internships Opportunities
Various internship opportunities are given to us. Last year the students of BSc third sem and MSc of the Forensic Science department were taken to the Varanasi Forensic Science laboratory and there they were assisted by individuals while performing various important tests and we were also given certificates at the end of the course.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements in the third year. Internships are started from the 2nd year. Various types and numbers of companies visit the campus-based on the type of course that was being chosen
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships available based on merits and percentages. AUAT is conducted by the University which is an admission test and based on how you perform you can get concessions and scholarships.
Campus Life
The Annual Fest is called ADINOVA which is a fabulous event filled with music, electrifying performances, special guest appearances and performances and so much more. It is generally conducted in the month of March. The tech fest is known as SIGNIFIYA which has events like coding challenges, e-sports, robotics, technical photography, treasure hunt, etc, and many more.
