NSIT college Review

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. If someone is from outside Delhi then for coding culture you should join NSUT while for fun and fests, you should join DTU....Read More

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully....Read More

Nsut is a great College and it's a state government University and getting into Nsut you need to have a great jee percentile depending on the courses, you want to pursue. Cut off varies from branch to branch least cut off is for tech branch and high cut off is there for core branches You can find the application form for jee on there official website and in total there are 4 attempts of jee mains . I gave JEE (Main and Adv.) and got 97.4 percentile. I had applied for JAC Delhi for admission to Nsut, Dtu and Iiit D. JAC Delhi is a very streamlined procedure , bit different from Josaa counselling. You can find the application form for JAC Delhi on their website. Application fee was 1000-1500. The registration had started a few weeks after the JEE results. There is reservation for SC,ST, OBC, single girl child, defence personnel and 85% reservation for delhi students. Only problem is that the process is a bit slow, could be made faster. You could get a seat in Nsut till around 50000-60000 tank for general category, Dtu has similar cutoffs....Read More

The admission process was very smooth. I gave JEE Mains 2021-22 and got a CRL 5218 and got CSAI in NSUT Main Campus. The application process was not at all tiring it was just done at home through a website JAC Delhi. Everything was very confortable. The cutoff of my course was around 5300 and i got it in round 4 of couselling of JAC Delhi and i am a general category student....Read More
