Remarks

The eligibility criteria for this course is 70% marks in HS. For getting admission one has to clear CET (Common Entrance Test). The application form is available on the MAKAUT website, one can contact the admission cell for further details, they are very friendly and will help you throughout.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I want to make a career for myself in the corporate world and BBA seemed to be a perfect choice. The teachers are very helpful and they teach amazingly for a better understanding of the students. The seats available for admission are 180 All the professors have high qualifying degrees such as phd, doctorate, etc. The difficulty level of term exams is moderate. One has to be attentive in class for better understanding.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Deloitte, TCS, EY, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, WIPRO, Amazon, etc Roles offered to the students are such as in the Finance sector, marketing sector, sakes executive, and a lot more. Interviews are conducted by the companies as a selection procedure.

Placement Experience

After the completion of the 2nd-year college provides internships, and campus placement takes place from 3rd year. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, EY, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, WIPRO, Amazon etc Highest package is 3.70 LPA (for BBA) Average package 1.2 LPA (for BBA) 85-90% of students get placed every year. After completing my BBA from IEM I will be pursuing my MBA from IIM if I'm lucky enough to crack CAT.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for BBA is 337000, at the time of admission it is 62000 and every semester it's 55000. Fees haven't increased in the past few years. Campus, scholarship is also provided. I'm a 2nd-year student, and life here is going pretty good, it's challenging and competitive, and that's what makes it interesting.

Campus Life

There are many clubs such as Finance Club, Quiz Club, Cultural Club, Drama Club, etc. Fests like IMPACT, INNOVACION, and NIRVANA are conducted in the month of March and April. Books are provided every semester by the college library itself. Classrooms have AC, computers, and projectors for better learning. Sports events like Ashram Cup (football) and cricket are conducted.

Stepping stone to success

Placement Experience:

Now i am pursuing BBA in final year, from the 3rd semester i gotten the opportunity for internship in Godrej. And many companies came here like Honda, Tata, Dhoot Transmission pvt ltd.etc.Atleast 90% student getting placement from here, company came here and selected the eligible students for their organization. - Students become eligible for campus recruitment from the 5th semester. - Around 65% of students get placed during campus interviews. - The highest package offered to the BBA students is INR 4 LPA. The average package offered to the students is INR 3 LPA and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. - The top recruiters who visit the companies are Accenture, EY (Ernst & Young), Wipro Technologies LtdHDFC Bank Pvt Ltd, Deutsche Bank, Amazon.com Inc, Concentrix Corporation, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. - But still, improvement in place of recruitment is highly recommended. - I want to pursue MBA after and want to commit to the business.

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
