Remarks

You have to go through mhtcet process for getting admission to Maharashtra college. I scored 93 percentile to get a seat at ycce. I am an obc category student so my cutoff was 90 percentile. The admission process is smooth and has no issues. Its a slow and steady process. but its nice there is no prblm and no hussle.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science because it's a trending course nowadays. IT sector is booming and everyone wants to land a job there. Student to teacher ratio is 20:1. Almost every teacher is undergoing Ph.D. or doctorate. Term exams are easy to score

the students are eligible for internships and placements. Highest package offered is of 25 lpa from vmware to 4th year student. Average is 4lpa. Almost 90 % studenta get placed. My plans after degree is to go to usa for masters. Tcs wipro amazon samsung company come to campus placements

Fees hike is not known to me. But I think every year fees get increased. I gained a scholarship to obc students by mahadbt. Loans are easily available at a low-interest rates. Campus placements are booming and a stipend of 100000 was given by VMware to a student

Campus Life

There are a lot of books almost 3000 to gain knowledge .classrooms are digital and teachers teach with ppt. A lot of sports basketball, football, and cricket are played. Every year one hero or heroine comes to our college. Arjit Singh and Shirley Setia came to our college. there are many extra curricular activites also

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
