NIT Rourkela Experience

We all know that NITs are among the best colleges in India. I chose the M.Tech programme at NIT because the college has a good placement record and provides a high-quality education. My GATE exam was already passed. To be admitted to NIT Rourkela, I must complete the admission form available on the college's official website and pay the application fee of Rs. 950/- at the time of admission. After making the NIT M.Tech programme cutoff list, I have attended a GD and PI round on the college campus.

The curriculum assists us in understanding the fundamentals in order to advance our level of technical knowledge. The curriculum is designed to help us improve our analytical and decision-making skills, as well as our technical and leadership abilities. The faculty at the college are well-known, and they are excellent. They encourage us to participate in extracurricular activities because they believe that in order to advance professionally, we must develop our personality. The faculty's teaching methods are a mix of traditional and modern techniques that engage us in class.

The college offers us some excellent internship opportunities. All information such as name, domain, and interest are registered with the college placement committee, which assists us in finding a good company for an internship. These specifics are also used in the college's placement programme.

The college placement is excellent, and the college is able to maintain its 100% placement record, thanks to the college's placement committee. The college's placement committee is responsible and cooperative. They are the ones who assist and guide us during the placement rounds because our information has already been registered with the placement committee, allowing them to be aware of our domain and interests. Our batch's highest package was approximately 26 LPA, and the average package was approximately 10 LPA.

The college's campus life is excellent. The campus offers numerous opportunities for project work and study. Guest faculty come to campus to give guest lectures, which provides us with an excellent learning opportunity. NITRUtsav is the college's annual cultural festival, and Innovision is the techno-management. We also have access to WiFi on campus. The college library is excellent; there are many books from around the world of various types available. The college strictly enforces a no-ragging policy, and the administrative staff and college seniors work well together.

The college has an excellent hostel. The rooms have been thoroughly cleaned. The hostel's infrastructure is excellent. The rooms are spacious and well-ventilated. Every one of us has a bed, a study table, and an almirah in our rooms. The hostel mess food is good, and the menu is extensive and full of various types of variety. The hostel wardens are professional and cooperative, and they maintain proper hostel decorum. We have access to WiFi at the hostel 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hostel provides us with a wide range of amenities.
