Remarks

Initially one has to give MH-CET(Maharashtra CET) exam. After getting a certain score you are allowed to take admission in certain branch(higher score(CS/IT) branches. Mostly you need above 97 percentile to get admission in CS/IT. Application form and all process is done on MH-CET website and other all documentation is done in College.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took IT branch because I had interest in it. There are 8-10 faculty almost 2 per each subject for a branch. So for 160 students there are 10 faculty members for a year. All faculties are highly qualified. And term exams are in December and May and they are not that hard to pass.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship season starts in the third year second sem. In fourth year one can do internship there is a separate module for that. Nividia, VMware, Veritas all companies come for internship+PPO Projects are subjective.

Placement Experience

The campus placement starts in the fourth year of Degree. Is starts in month of July There are many big companies like Nvidia, VMware, Amazon they offer high packages above 30 lacks. Average package is 6 lacks 80% students get placed. I want get a job after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are bit high due to Autonomy. The fees for my batch in open category is 160000 and for other category they are less. There are scholarships which are provided by government and also EWS class.

Campus Life

There is a big annual fest. It is named as Gandharva. It occurs every January. There are huge number of books for every branch. There are sports event also at the time of annual event almost all sports are covered. Many clubs are there whichever you like can be joined

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
