Remarks

I applied in Daulat Ram College in 3rd cut off through SC quota With 85% in PCM and cut off of the DRC 84% in course BSC hons. Chemistry. All the process of registering upto taking admission in Delhi university is completely in online mode.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BSC hons. chemistry because chemistry is my favourite subject and i find it too interesting while studying. Student ratio is also good we have the strength of 32 in our course and respectively other courses have average strength. All professors are just aussum and their ways to study is alsoo just wow and they are giving their best 200% in teaching us through online mode also .

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 19480 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is good as compared to other college . And college also provide various scholariships. College is providing financial assistance to the students who are financially Unstable and providing scolarship To students who scored above 95 percent in 12th.

Campus Life

Annual fest of drc is generally held on 21 march every year. Books and newspapers all are available in Library. Classroom is generally good .Exciting sports events and various societies are there to increase the knowledge of a student

The real college experience

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are average. There is a placement cell in our college that is mostly run by students only. Average placement package is 3 to 4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS that visits our college for placements. 5 and 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. 60 to 100 students per year get placements.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. The admission process was so long and time taking.There is entrance exam that is CUET for admission in delhi University.The admission will be on the basis of cut off.
