Remarks

The admission process was very carefully carried out by the college. I was selected for a 4-year Mechanical Engineering course. Most of the information regarding the college can be found on its official site which is maintained and updated regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in increasing the quality of manufacturing in India in sectors such as Automotives. The faculty is well qualified in their area of teaching and other domains as well. The term exams vary from average to high difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

I had applied for Siemens ( it had no stipend ). I was in a metrology lab and was learning how to use CMM and 3D scanners as well as gaining industrial experience of how things are done from other labs present in the Siemens facility.

Placement Experience

The placements of our college are fairly decent. This year 104 out 0f 132 were placed in mechanical according to my knowledge. I plan to either pursue higher studies or apply for a PSU through the gate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure here is OK in my opinion. As I have availed scholarship through Category basis I only have to pay room rent and mess bill. Currently, I am doing my internship at Siemens in metrology.

Campus Life

The annual fest and tech are conducted with most students participating and giving it their all. The library is filled to the brim with all books you would need. The classroom is equipped with AC, a smartboard, and a projector.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel Facility is nice. The mess is good for eating breakfast and lunch but not for dinner. You are allocated a double or triple seater room in 1st year which is then changed to a single-seater room in 2nd year. Currently, I'm staying in H10 and the network here is very poor. The internet shuts off regularly and the mobile data is also unusable.

Placement Experience:

I don't know about placement because my batch is the second batch of btech course but the hod have assured that they will bring companies. In 7th semester students become eligible for placement. The average package you could expect is 300000.

The placement opportunity in my college are quite good and student usually become eligible for the campus placement for 16 and seven semester, depending on the course number of recruitment, companies of the IT finance, consulting and the core industry, visit the campus, each year, student companies in for TCS et cetera, et cetera, the highest package offer is the quite impressive and average package a decent and the comparative compare to the other college and the region. This colleges through the job profile offer Software development, business analytics sector on the average packet of 78% are eligible and perform interview.

Placement Experience:

The thing about my course placement is that my batch is second batch so no batch have been passed out and placed in btech but the dean have assured us about the placement as they have bought companies for others courses so they will surely bring for btech also that's what they said. The companies will mostly nearby to dpg degree college. And the average package will maybe 3 lakh per annum.

Remarks:

Positive - Placements are very good. U get a tag of a Nitian. Environment is very peaceful here. Sport facilities are overall good. Infrastructure is good. ZERO ragging. Negative Professor and faculty members are not cooperative. Some hostels are not good, but new ones are v. Good As KURUKSHETRA is not a big city so u have to go karnal or chandigarh for fun.

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Reality of NIT kurukshetra

I took this college because the nit kurukshetra is one of top college in India for engeenering. I also applied dtu and i also get it in but not cs breach which is my priority. I also want to go iit but i am able to qualified the jee advance. The admission process is through josaa counseling the eligibility criteria is that you have qualify jee mains the cutoff rank is vary according to your category. Nit kurukshetra is the best

Good college for electrical
