This is entrance based admission Only available for women Conduct by Delhi university Eligibility-12th based exam minimum per cent required for applying is50? independent from streams Application forms are available on du site -http://du.ac.in/ The duration of the test is 2 hours The test comprises multiple-choice questions There are 100 questions on the test The entrance test shall be bilingual (English and Hindi) Each question is of 04 marks and for each incorrect answer, 01 marks will be deducted. No mark will be given for the question not attempted According to seats, there is a reservation for minority caste. But the college fee is the same for all except the PWD category.

Course Curriculum Overview

I decide on my ambition of becoming a teacher in childhood. Qualification - M.A., M.Phil, PhD Teaching method:- is not through rote memorization or giving lectures. The teacher used to learn by doing method that don't introduce the topic directly. They relate our all learning to real life.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 17035 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is not so much expensive. There is a scholarship for backwards classes but I applied 2-3 times they are not as corporate they take all the documents before 2 hours on the last date they will give u any complaint in ur documents. Many of my classmates applied for it but no one get it till now. Placement cell is good 90 chances are to we will get a job through college. There is a 1-year internship also in our course but no salary or stipend, it's just for the experience and makes our CV good.

Campus Life

The annual fest or tech fest is too bad for poor arrangements, rather than going to our college fest we preferred the north campus fest. The infrastructure of the college is of poor quality the classrooms are poor. There is so many network issue also inside the college. all books and reading are available in the library.

Poor infrastructure, average faculty and not-so-happening campus life

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
