All about b.el.ed in SPM

Students should have 50% marks in their 12th class. And then eligible for entrance exam. After Entrance exam merit basis (12th marks + entrance exam percentage) cutoff out, and admission according to merit list. We can application form with normal admission form of college on du website. When I took that time fees of entrance was 1000 rs.,but now fees only for b.el.ed form is 600. Students can fill form latest by 22/05/22. In every exam there is less benefits for Obc, but yes for SC,ST students can get admission even after merit rank around 1500. I had 114 rank under OBC and 970 rank under overall. And i got admission in first list in Institute of home economics, but it is far form my house, so I took admission in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee college for women under second list.

I choose Shyama Prasad Mukherjee college for women, just because it is nearby my home. There education department is so helpful, they think very much out their students. Teachers also very good, focus on more conceptual understanding rather than memorization. Teachers completed their PhD and few our in way of completing it. This course is in annual mode, so students give exam only once in year, but SPM College take practice exam in between November and December.

In education department, for 4th year students, placement cell called private , Innovative or otter types of school for selection of teachers. College connect with MCD's school for internships in 1,3,and 4th year.

For Shyama Prasad Mukherjee college, I calculate my expenditure with travel, so I found that around 80,000 for 4 years(16000-17000 fees per year+ 20 travel expenses on daily basis, now it's free) There is full refund fees scholarship for SC and St. And others scholarships as same as others colleges.

There is no name of annual fest of our department, but our college fest name is "Srijan". Principal is very strict about corona, that time fees this celebrated but very few students know about it. Library is very good, students can find any book easily, even there is separate almirah for education department books. College is also good for sports and games. There is Gym with full equipment for sports student, I seen it form the door. There is NCC, navrang group, dance, music etc. societies in college, SPM website and groups on every online platform.
