Remarks

for entrance to DU, you have to clear list wise cut-off for each college you applied to. I secured a seat in Gargi after the 3-4th list thus making it more difficult to get a seat. Cut off are decided based on the 12th percentage secured in CBSE board exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is rigorous and is a lot about a mixture of both practical and theoretical knowledge. We have subjects with a mixture of lab visits and classroom experiences. In addition faculties on their own end takes a lot of pain to ensure the course is completed in time and in-depth knowledge is provided to students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

During the last year companies start visiting the college. The average package is around 3Lakhs and all the big 4 are visiting campus for recruitment. In addition to campus placement college also provides opportunities related to group placements along with different DU colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees at DU are very minimal and give an abundance of opportunities to explore other DU colleges. Scholarships are available basis the requirements of students. Colleges themselves look after students a lot and ensure campus placements are offered comprehensively.

Campus Life

We had large ground along with a basketball court to ensure sports activities were carried out continuously. In addition we had two fests while the cultural and main fest being Reverie. Classrooms are basic without AC provision and library is massive having all the books required to complete the course.

Brief of Sri Aurobindo College

Placement Experience:

Campus placement in my college is pretty average as only some people get selected while companies come to recruit student who are in their final year. The average package offered to the students in here is around 4,00,000 to 5,00,000 and the highest package anyone has got is about 10,00,000. Meanwhile some people do not go for the campus recruitment as they want to pursue higher studies.

Gargi is one the most esteemed colleges of Delhi University

The college on an overall is extremely amazing however the college does need to work a little on the infrastructure there are a lot of students and less space there always has been space crunch in the college premises and I also feel gargi should have an hostel of its own to provide accommodation to students who really cannot afford PGs because even if students who come from all across India to study in DU because of its subsidised education it really isn't a practical idea if they do not get subsidised accommodation at the same time....Read More
