Campus placement

The management needs to improve extra curriculum activities.

I had appeared for comedk. Comedk score got me admission into this college. It is an autonomous institution.

If you are interested you can learn more and more apart from the courses registered. You can have electives to choose from other department and is offered various paid or free training if you are interested. Course curriculum is average compared to other colleges.

Only few of the companies visit for the internship with the stipend across 6000-7000. Overall it is average.

Placement opportunities are improving as the number of companies visited this year is greater than before. Tcs, tech mahindra, subex, mindtree, cgi etc came for the campus recruitment where approx 300 students got placement in tcs and tech mahindra. Students are offered with the packages mainly 2.5 to 3.6 lpa.

There are many events and festivals celebrated regularly. Departmental and inter departmental competition are organized. Technical fests is organized which are related to gaming, solving sudoku, codings and many more. Cultural events are also organized followed with the ethnic day.

Fee structure is not that good as we have to pay around 1.5 lakh pa. Students getting admission through CET has to pay around 40k pa and the students getting into the college through comedk have to pay around 1.5 lakh pa. However it is non-satisfactory.

Scholarship from the Karnataka government is availed by the people mainly of sc, st and the people belonging to Karnataka.

Both girls and boys are about in the same ratio. Mainly Kannada and English is spoke in this college and and few talks in Hindi language. Trip and parties (like farewell party) are also organized. This college has freindly environment. Sports and competitions facilities are not that good.

Hostel rent is affordable and the rooms are also good. The rooms are shared with three or four people according to your payment and there is no more issue regarding washroom and warm water etc. You have to wash your clothes your own and the mess food is satisfactory.

Overall it can be said as the platform to build a successful future with a little hard work. Seniors are friendly and helpful.

Exam timing and schedule keeps on changing which makes it difficult for the people who has planned to go home or other plans. In semester exam, we have a lot of gap to prepare for other subjects. It wasn't that hectic but chilled out. Overall Exam structure is good.

Faculty of this college is good qualified mainly for the CSE department. This college do have a qualified and interested faculty for the courses but not all the faculty members. Some are best to teach their particular course but few of them lags and is satisfactory.
