Good college..

VIIT is an autonomous institute, that gets its autonomy in 2017. The admission process is through the CAP process of the Maharashtra board. You need t give MHT CET and on based on merit you get the college. You can also avail reservation benefits. The admission process is quite simple.

I have an interest in Computer science, so I choose this course. The curriculum for the course is very good and according to industrial needs. It keeps moderating to upcoming batches. The faculty staff is also very good and is conducted. experience. The exams are In semester exams and end-semester exams. Also, practicals are conducted.

Students get a chance to do internships in the academic structure. Last year students have one-semester compulsory internship module. Research internships and industrial internships are there for the students. Also if you got PPO offer you can dpo an internship at the company.

The college has very good placements. Students start to get drive from the 6th semester onwards. The average package is around Rs.450000 annually. Many good companies like amazon, Nvidia , Seagate , HSBC bank, Avaya, Altavista , TCS , Wipro , Infosys, etc came to college for hire. The percentage of students getting placed is 80%.

Fees for the college are slightly high in comparison to the facilities provided. But not very high. It's around Rs 140000 for our batch and its keeps hiking year to year. You also get a chance to avail scholarships offered by government and private sector.

Campus life is average for VIIT . The annual fest of college is Gandharva. It is held in the month of January for 4 to 5 days. It is the techno-cultural event. The Library of the college is very nice and has good availability of books on each field. the classroom has general amenities that all colleges have. The sports section is quite active. Many clubs in the college like EDC, NSS, Rotract, CEC, TedXVIIT,etc.
