Remarks

For B.tech admission is solemnly based on SNUSAT score(Conducted by the university) or either through JEE-MAINS. You will get direct admission if you get 80%ile or more in jee-mains. You can find out the application form on its website. Application fees are 1900RS and depend upon the number of courses/preferences you give. The application rolls out twice (once in December and other in May). There is no reservation policy. The admission process is purely unbiased and fair.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE, as this course is in high demand and has good opportunities. In our batch, we have 120 students in CSE where the student-to-professor ratio is 20:1. The faculties are top-notch as they have a prestigious degree and their teaching style is far better and they are easily approachable. We have quiz exams each week and mid-sem and end sem in the interval of 1.5months. If you study properly throughout the semester the exams won't be difficult for you otherwise they will be hard or difficult to pass.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students intern with different companies ( dell, HCl, Goldman Sachs) with different roles as a software developer, analysts, web developers,s, etc. Students prepare projects mainly through React JS/Node ( web development)

Placement Experience

4.5

All the 4th-year students((7th semester) are allowed to sit for the campus placements. We have 350+companies visiting every year (adobe/dell/Goldman Sachs/Wipro). The highest package is 31.5lakhs and the average package is 7.8lakhs. Almost 90%students are placed. I will go for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university offers a wide range of scholarships based on merit in academics and sports. You may get a 100% tuition fee waiver if you achieve something extraordinary. The university is costly as you have no option to live on rent as hostels are compulsory. The university also offers OCJ(On Campus Job) in various departments.

Campus Life

4.5

We have one annual fest BREEZE conducted every year in the month of March. Books are easily available in the library and are open from 8 am to 2 am. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and lecture halls are extremely bigger. We have a total of 60 clubs in our university which are led by students( Nexus, adventure club, TEDx, Equestrian club, etc)

Hostel Facilities

You are provided with options to choose from AC and Non-AC rooms. The hostels are hygienic and room size is quite good. Meal quality is best and hygienic and you get a lot of variety in terms of food. We have ala-carte system in our dinner where you get different delicious food. Hostel fees is 110000 per year which is less if you compare it with the facilites where we have pantry room/tv room/indoor sports room .

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Everything about SNU NOIDA!

I applied to many other private colleges including mit, vit, srm and all. But i found snu better than those cause of many reasons: 1) student intake : while other pvt colleges takes thousands of students per course, snu only takes around 150. 2) facilities : snu really cares about facilities and hygiene. Living of life in snu campus feels very systematic. 3) location : in north, idts theres any other college with good packages as well as facilities. For cse avg package, its 12Lpa. Which is very good compared to other colleges. Admission process : for soe (school of engineering), there are ofcourse two ways 1) jee main (generally 92ile above for cse) and 2) snusat (cutoff isnt disclosed)....Read More
