Remarks

No admission process is quite nice. I don't have any further improvement in the college I like all the processes but its counselor needs some practice when my friend called them they don't talk well. My course eligibility was a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 grade, which was quite easy for me. I found the application on the app itself and their counselors had helped me to do this. that process is very easy. I got the scholarship based on the cut exam.on the quiet exam, I got 57 marks with a scholarship of 25%. No, I don't have got any problem with admission

Internships Opportunities

They offer internship opportunities but they also charge money for that. ?9000 for the 4years of experience. They are very strict on attendance and exams. Stipend offers range from ?5000-?15000 They will teach you some skills and get the work on that behalf.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for campus placements. We have got the highest no. of placement offered.some top companies are Microsoft ,Google,infinix,Boeing,oracle...etc The highest package offered was 38 lakhs. Average package of students are 5-6 lakhs Nearly 70% of students got placement. After getting it will work on my entrepreneurial journey.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees get very much higher these days which is not good because of inflation, competition is getting higher, and margins getting reduced on the products because of competition. I got a scholarship through the cucet exam and I got a 25% scholarship. They had made it easier with part payment you can pay anytime in between the sem. there no that many penalties

Campus Life

The campus is very vibrant. And very much diverse you will find different types of people from different states and different countries. Availability of books is less because engineering books are very costly so you have to rely on the library for the same and there are not that many books. You can find nearly any sport you are interested in. They will encourage you to get higher at the sport in which you are. Nearly every club was run by students teachers are only present on special occasions.

A student's perspective for his college

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Collages Are fun and best if provide diverse ecosystem

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
