Remarks

The admission was through the counselling conducted by Chhattisgarh directorate general for medical education and Ayush University (CGDME) on the basis of the NEET score and rank, the qualification to be the part of counselling was NEET Qualification for the given category and since this college was a private so therefore seats were Government, Management and NRI having reservations in the categories too, Nowadays everything is online in the portal making us less tedious.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Okay so I always wanted to be a doctor so that's why I took it, The faculties are really good , in every term from the HOD to Associate professors to even tutors having thorough knowledge in there subjects and the student faculty ratio is also good, The exams Taken are timely consistent of term exams and then pre University and in between there are class tests as well , The exam patterns are also similar to The main University Exams we give and checking is fair not lenient or hard.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is the compulsory internship in the hospital by the MCi which is paid off by the monthly stipend, Since we have not been passed out and we'll start our internship in October But as heard from our seniors the internship opportunities are good with good patient exposure and latest techniques .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for our batch was 576500 tuition and 127200 hostel. The fees was the same for 4.5 years and was the lowest in the whole India w.r.t private colleges that time Now the fees has increased to the current fees There are no interim scholarships given by the institutions as of now but the reservation students of SC ST And OBC category the government gives scholarships on there behalf.

Campus Life

1.5

Okay so sad but true there are no annual fests in the college, There are Some Ganesh Chaturthi fests conducted annually in the name of fests but that is again on the availability of time for all the batches The library is good with computers and all the latest books and AC . Similarly sports there is no club of the college And no sports from the college as such so college life is low. Similarly no social groups so social life is low.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Compared to other hostels the room is comparatively good, with a double sharing room having an attached washroom , a geyser and a Cooler or An Ac depending upon the choice of the student and the cost also changes The food quality is also okay giving is 4 meals breakfast lunch snacks and dinner The hostel is compulsory for all students who are out of bhilai and durg. Outside There are rebated flats and PG available but hostel is a good option.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel
