Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

MBBS is not very easy course to be in, it is not even short course, and throughout the course we are not only made to learn how to treat patients but also on how to respect a patient. By learning the ethics to become a doctor, it very much help us to build character on how to govern our life in future. Our course has very practical approach 1st year - we have to learn about normal function and structure of human body. 2nd year - we learn abnormalities and diseases and their cause. 3rd year (part-1) - we learn to apply this knowledge along its legal and social impacts 3rd year (part-2) - we learn how to identify and manage such cases. During one year compulsory intership we apply all the knowledge under guidance. End of every year we are given final exams along with their practicals which are fairly difficult.

In my medical college social aspects are often by a strong sense of community among students due to the demanding nature of the curriculum. Students often form study groups and support systems to help each other navigate the rigorous coursework and exams. here may be social events organized by student associations or the college itself to foster camaraderie among students. Club Involvement: In my Medical college often have a variety of clubs and organizations catering to different interests such as photography club, music club, chess club. Medical colleges typically have state-of-the-art infrastructure to support the learning and research needs of students and faculty. My medical college also have student lounges, cafeterias, recreational facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything. There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.
