Remarks

It is a good place to be in. The crowd is very vast and more or less tolerant. Students politics is banned, so this place is politically calm. The region is quite green and has an awesome landscape. The college is trying to upgrade to all the facilities in which it is lacking.

Entrance Preview

You must have a valid score in CAT/MAT and a minimum of 50% in graduation. There after you will be called for a round of group discussion and interview. Final selected candidates are called.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Both theoretical and practical methods are used to teach the students. We have one faculty member for every four students which is quite impressive. We are taught what the industry and the outside world requires from us and we do have industrial visits to the nearby industries. The course curriculum is useful.

Internships Opportunities

A maximum number of students have got their internships from our college. The highest stipend offered was rupees 30,000 per month, lowest stipend offered was rupees 10,000 per month and the average stipend offered was rupees 15,000 per month.

Placement Experience

3

Overall, the placements are good. About 60-70% of the eligible students get an offer. Last year, the highest package offered was 18 lakhs by Flipkart. The average salary ranges from 3.75 - 4.25 lakhs. A whole lot of companies visit the campus for placements, the popular ones being Mercedes (which hired 25 students last year, providing a stipend of 6 lakhs to most of them), Flipkart and other MNCs.

College Events

5

Our college has been organising extra circular activities like atl lab where innovative ideas from different students are understood easily and provide them with the required guidance until they complete their task.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for MBA is very high which comprises to be 12 lacs approximately but the ROI is comparatively good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is granted on annual basis and continuation in second and further years of the program is subject to scholarship policy. To continue availing 100% scholarship students must secure position in top 5% of the merit list for the program. For continuation of 50% scholarship, students will have to secure position in top 10% of the merit list for the program.

Campus Life

3.5

The classrooms and labs are very good. Most of the classes have ACs and labs are well-ventilated. Sports, games, and fitness facilities are top-notch. There are many basketball courts, lawn tennis courts, and 2 badminton courts.

Hostel Facilities

5

There are table tennis rooms in every hostel. The hostel rooms in most blocks are very good, except a few very old ones. They are very clean. The Wi-Fi speed isn't that great and leaves you disappointed at times. There many messes and a food court for eating. The messes are good, but the food court is unpredictable. It can be awesome at times and sometimes bad too.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meets are there every year where the alumni are asked to describe their perspective about the importance this college holds in shaping up their career.

Exam Structure

Because of the exams, the course is sometimes too hectic to handle. Tests, quizzes, viva, practicals, assignments, live projects are all part of the evaluation.

Faculty

5

The faculty is a mixed bag. Some are very good and some are not. The teaching methodology is somewhat primitive. Sometimes the teachers are rude. But they are quite helpful if you have a genuine problem. As for the qualification of the teachers, a good number of them have done Ph.D. and most are post-graduates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and after the 4th-trimester students will be eligible for sitting in the final placements and after the 1st-trimester students will be eligible for the summer internship. Gartner, Big 4 and Grant Thornton like companies that hire in bulk with good packages but Gartner don't hire in bulk and it offers the PPO also after the SIP with around 17lacs, as of now I am not informed of the highest package because I still placements are going on so don't know right now. 97% of students get the placements from the college

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.
