For getting admission in VIIT,Pune You need to appear for MHT CET. On the basis of MHT CET score you get merit no. and on the merit status you get the college. You need to register for CAP process on the maharashtra board site. Admission process is not very difficult.

The course curriculum is modern and according to AICTE norms. Syllabus keeps moderating on the basis of new technologies in industry. College keeps very keen eye on the syllabus moderation. Faculty is very experienced and friendly. Exams are conducted time to time.

Many internships opportunities are there for students. You get the chance to do internship from your 3rd year of study. And in last year there is one compulsary module in semester for internship.You can do industry internships and research internships according to your performance .

VIIT,Pune has very good percentage of placement. Nearly 70% students from overall college placed through college placements. Many opprtunities are there for the students starting from 6th Semester itself. But not many core companies came for amechanical engineering. But you can get placements from various MNCs in IT industry like TCS , Wipro , Accenture , Infosys, Cognizent, etc.

College fees is around Rs. 1,53,000 for open category or general category. And you can also take benefits for the reservation categories fees. Also various goverment scholarships and private scholarships are present for the students. Fees hike is compulsory year to year.

Campus life is average for VIIT,Pune. College has annual fest named Gandharva, which is techno cultural event held in the month of January for 4 to 5 days. Also college has various clubs and cells for the students. EDC , NSS , TedXViit , Rotract, CEC , MESA , ACM etc are the clubs in the college. Also sports facilities are available for the students.
