Remarks

To get into this college, we have to give jee mains entrance test. The cutoff is different for every branch which is available on jac Delhi website. If you belong to the general category then rank till 1 lakh can get you inside this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The ECE course consists of various practical subjects. the college has well-designed labs with all the equipment required. All the teachers have done their Ph.D. Exams are held almost every week in this college and work pressure is quite high.

Internships Opportunities

Getting an internship is quite difficult here as there is huge competition and not many companies visit for internships. We can say that every one out of five students gets an internship here. The placement cell of this college is quite active.

Every year large amount of companies visits this campus for on-campus placements. getting placed is not difficult in this college you just have to get the required skills. companies also visit internship opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the years 2020-2024 total fee is approx 850000 and the fees increase by 10% every year. I consider this fee quite high considering it is a goverment college. But a number of students get scholarships based on their family income.

Campus Life

This college has a huge campus of 145 acres with all the facilities. There are separate grounds for all the sports. there are a number of boys' and girls' hostels. Their annual cultural fest moksha is also held every year in the month of March.

Hostel Facilities

There are a number of hostels in the college. people outside Delhi easily get hostels here. The hostel prices are approx 40k for 3 months which includes mess charges also. There are complaints regarding the quality of mess food.

Interview Experience

The admission process of this college just includes jee main entrance test. we need to clear the cutoff of jee mains and pass our local board exams of class 12 to get into this college. there is no interview held.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The professors in my college are very supportive

No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students
Due to construction dust is flowing around

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor.
