Remarks

IIIT Una is one of the 20 new IIITs established in India. It is known for its academic programs in electronic engineering, computer science and information technology. The cutoff for IT department is 12037 as the opening rank and 15545 as the closing rank. I got a call from the counsellor after being shortlisted for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course was vast and it required great amount of revisions to keep up with it. Modules covered topics like computer architecture and organisation, database systems, electronics, operating systems, foundations of computer systems, etc. The faculty was well educated and the teacher-student ratio was 9:1

IIIT Una witnessed a placement percentage of a whopping 100%. The highest CTC offered was 13.5 lakh and the average CTC was 4.5 lakh. Companies that visited were IBM, reliance, yodlee, Mind, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

This institute offers merit based scholarship to students who ranked 90% of higher. It also provides need based scholarship to students with family income upto 250000. Other scholarship includes merit cum means, merit and national scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

The campus life of students here was wonderful and full of activities. The amenities include green Gardens, cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, swimming pool, etc. We took part in clubs like literature club, dance club, etc

Placement Experience:

After fifth semester you are eligible for campus placements. IBM, Cognizant, Algo8, Polaris and CITRIX and over 5000 offers are made. Highest package 42 lpa in CSE program by Algo8 and average package of CSE program is 5 lpa and for MBA is 7.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placements is 45%. My plan after getting degree is make your skill more better and good for my dream companies like google, amazon and microsoft and crack their interviews.

third year college students are eligible for placements and intership and campus placement is good and amazon , google such big companies are visited the highest pacakage is 43 lpa and median is about 9 lpa and placement percentage is 70 and i got placement in such big companies

Why to get IIIT UNA in 2025

Placement Experience:

the placemts of my college is just average about 12 lakhs average package and 30 lakhs max this year but max is 60 lakhs p.a. from 7th sem students starts to get placements and got eligible the companies visited are amazon,flipkart , enfosys and many more'' the percentage of the students getting placed is about 80% till now my plans are to get on acmpus placement the best i can get

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for job drives from the 7th term. In our college, firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit. Most jobs are in coding, support, or test fields. The top pay was around ?10 LPA for a dev job. The usual pay is 3–4 LPA for most jobs. Nearly 60–70% of CS/IT students get jobs. Core jobs are less for other fields. My goal is to work for 1–2 years in tech and then go for higher study or skill-based role in top firm or startup.

The most beautiful college NIT Hamirpur

Placement rate is good in mechanical engineering which is Almost 90 percent and average package is 6-8 lakh . From seventh semester students become eligible for college placement. And many good companies visit like Jsw ,adani ,realiance and many more. Highest package is 1 crore but it was in it sector. After getting degree I will opt for placements
