Remarks

This is overall good college but when it is the matter of reserved people it is the worst college. No one would like to join this college for this reason. The study is also not upto the mark and fees are very high. If u are good with money go for it.

Entrance Preview

The college is famous for commerce and science. And i m not interested in science that is the reason i chose commerce and the reputation of the college felt me to chose this college. The commerce course is the easiest course too that is why i chose this college and course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum and faculty is overall good. But not the best as expected. They do not respect the students. They think that due to them the college is running. This is the bad part of this college. There is a lot of inside materials between students and the faculty beacuse of debates. There is also a corruption between the college and students for admission

Internships Opportunities

There were no internship exams in this college. This college do not provide internship for commerce students and there is a lot of job opportunities for students from this college because of the reputation. There is no help provided to poor students infact they take money for admission.

Placement Experience

3

The placements of job and opportunities is always high because of the reputation. But it affects only when the student has got very less marks. The opportunity is always very well for the rich students and no companies are invited for commerce students it only for science student. Big companies like l&t, reliance are invited to give jobs.

College Events

4

College festivals are upto the mark and always very enjoyable and no one cares about the rules and everyone come together as a single part. They are very big and the festival are very huge a minimum of 2000 students get together to form that festival or function. They celebrate teachers days very well and the maximum students come on this day.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship are provided to general people. The scheduled caste and scheduled tribes are always given a high priority. This in return destroys the dream of study inside the poor and general students. The general students are not very good for this all. They don't get the respect they want. They are neglected at each and every level.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is almost 50/50. The campus life is also very good and every student wants this kind of campus life. The sports programs are organized really well. There are various competition in the college. But in all this sc and st are kept at very high that is the reason it also claims politics inside the college. As per my opinion every one in the college is corrupted.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostels are good but have very less beds to share. The fees are very high not for poor class people this is the worst part of this college no poor class people get entered into college due to the fees. The food is at an average rate we can't rate the food because it is the God's gift. Overall an average regarding this topic.

Alumni/Alumna

The good part of this college is there is no ragging between the senior and the juniors. The relation between students are maintained very well. The seniors always helpd the juniors for organizing programs and this all is done with each other good relations. Love is spread wide amongst the students and the get together and form each and every function very well.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
