For getting admission in VIIT , Pune you need to give MHT CET and based on that score you have to register for CAP process . After filling option form of college , you got the college . The admission process is quite easy and simple.also you get reservation benefits .

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is according to the AICTE standards and college have different syllabus other than university colleges. As college is autonomous its curriculum is getting moderated as per latest industry technologies.Exams are conducted regularly .

In VIIT, Pune students gets the chance to do internship in research internship and also industry internship. Many conpanies offered internship to students . Like atlas copco , fluid control ,cdac , tata motors , etc. If you have enough skills and knoweldge you will get internship easily. also college has 1 semester in the last year as compulsary internship .

VIIT , Pune has annual fest named Gandharv . It is techno cultural fest of college conducted annualy.also college has various clubs and cells for students. Students can register for that and can also become member . Clubs like EDC , Avishkar , CEC , ACM , Baja , Supra , etc are there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
