Remarks

I went through the CAP process . And before that i have to Give MHT-CET exam. Based on CET score you will get admission in this college. You have to go through the CAP round process. After filling the option form for the colleges you got selected for the college based on your score. Admission process is very easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for the course is according to Pune University. But from the year 2019 the college is an autonomous institute so now the syllabus is quite different and also course curriculum has improved. Exams are conducted by university for my batch as we are not in autonomy. But now exams are conducted by college itself.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You get chance to do internship at college under faculty for research purpose and also you cam do internship in industry. Also if you got internship + PPO from any company then you do internship at that company.

Placement Experience

RSCOE offered placements for students by TPO Cell . The average package students gets is around Rs. 350000 to 400000 Per year. Around 70 to 80% students get placements from college. The MNCs like TCS , Wipro , Accenture , Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Veritas, Cognizent etc came to college for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Basic fees for the RSCOE College is around Rs. 1,15,000. But you get the reservation benefits if you are eligible. And based on that you have to pay fees . Different goverment and private scholarships are available in the college for students.

Campus Life

There is annual festival conducted in college named Gandharv. It is techno cultural event 3 days long. Also there are various clubs and cells in the college for students. Named Rangbhoomi , Robotics club , Hiphopers , Supra, etc. Sports activities are also for students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
