Remarks
One can get admission in NSUT, Netaji Subhash University of Technology, formerly NSIT on the basis of JEE Mains All India Rank. After clearing the JEE MAINS entrance, one needs to register for the JAC Delhi Counselling and wait for seat allotment. Usually, there are 7 rounds followed by spot and special spot rounds. So it's quite easier to get into it. It also has a DELHI QUOTA of 85% which means 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi candidates and the remaining 15% is for Outside Delhi students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up-to-date, and in addition to the practical and the lab sessions, make the students enjoy their subjects. Faculty members are well qualified and experienced. Teaching quality is also very good, teachers are helping and providing us with proper knowledge. Mid-semester examinations and end-semester examinations are moderately tough, which checks students on various aspects, and it comprises of questions from all over the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Since past previous years, internship opportunities used to open from 2nd year of Engineering. But, the TnP cell of NSUT is encouraging the first years to get internships and boost their skills. TnP cell pings up to each student for every internship opportunity via mail. Interested students apply for the same.
Placement Experience
The Training and Placement cell is very good. 100+ companies visit the campus every year. About 80-90% of the students got placed. Almost every Tech Giants and MNCs hire undergrads from NSUT. The average package is 10 LPA and Highest package to date is 1.25 crores per annum. Hence it's worth taking.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of NSUT is quite high i.e, 8.94 lacs for 4 years [for 2021-2025 batch]. The fees for first-year costs around 2.06 lacs and every year it increases by 10%. But the college is value-for-money.
Campus Life
NSUT has great infrastructure and facilities, including air-conditioned classrooms only for First Year though, each department with respective well-equipped labs of each subject, and a library with a huge collection of books. Annual Cultural Fest [MOKSHA] is on the doors now (24TH TO 26TH MARCH) and every fresher is super excited. After 2019, the fest is being conducted.
