Remarks

The admission process for bsc biotechnology is from the entrance exam. The application comes during June Or July and results come in August or September. The minimum cutoff is 60 percent. The question pattern is MCQ type. With negative marking.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In the present scenario, the importance of biotechnology emerges hugely. Just think what will happen if there's no vaccine for covid. So it's truly a worthwhile course. The male-female ratio is fifty-fifty. The faculties are highly qualified. Their teaching style is wonderful. Exams include sessional, semester, and vivas.

Placement Experience

4.5

For a biotechnology course, you need to do a master's for a higher package. But after graduation, you can also opt for a better job but if your expectations are high then you should go for masters. The highest package is 14lpa average package is 4lpa. Nearly 2t percentage get placement in ug course. My plan is will go for a master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

One-year fee for biotechnology is 8000 and there are many scholarships like Aaj mi, teachers Association scholarship, nsp. In the final years, many big company visits and there are chances of getting placements if you truly deserve it.

Campus Life

3.5

In jmi there are so many fests and seminars happening. Like lexicon. The library is really so helpful for students. Because there are so costly books in the market. The library helps alot with financial support for students. Many extracurricular activities happen to like sports singing or debating.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.
