Remarks

This college is based on CET at that time common entrance test now onwards. The application form is found on the official website and the fees structure is also there. One improvement I want is that an app should be made that track student progress report which should be linked with the mobile number of parents when mid-semester results come it should be texted by the app. Also, placement criteria should be more groomed. The tie-up of the college with the companies should increase so that more and more placement of the students take place.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose computer science as in interested in the IT field of Hardware computers. Our class consist of almost 60 students of which almost 30 are girls and 30 are boys and almost the ratio of faculty to students is sufficient. The whole staff was very much qualified some teachers are pursuing PhD and others were post graduates. I gave 4 stars out of 5 regarding teaching. Exams were always on time there was no delay. There is a lot of strictness in semesters. The level of exams is sometimes difficult some time medium-difficult.

Placement Experience

3

Companies like Pepsi, TVs, hero, l & t, Cisco also purple leap company many offers were made regarding mid-course training semester training. The highest package Infosys company gives is 8 to 10 lakh at that time. Percentage of students I think only 10percent who are getting placed, have joined the IAF after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were too high according to a middle-class family and this policy is too bad for general caste students but for schedule cast students there are scholarship criteria and also for the students who have scored more than 90 marks even they also got a scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Annual tech wast was conducted in CT college in summers and also an accident always happened during these days in a month if august and July. The availability of books in the library is sufficient.A lot of competition books are there also library card was made in which the whole record of the books is there.the classroom is fully spacious and spacious too with sufficient lighting and fans also sitting benches are of good quality. Sports marathons of the whole college are there also sometimes singers and actors Punjabi actors come to colleges for promotion of movies. There are a lot of social groups with the name of ct college run by people on Facebook

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chitkara University are decent for CSE AI ML. Students are allowed to sit for campus drive from about 7th sem. Many tech and service firms visit like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and some product firms too. Offer count is good for CSE branch each year. Avg package is near 4 to 6 LPA for most roles, and top package can go much higher for select students in dev and AI roles. Around 70 to 80 percent students get some offer if they meet skill and marks rules. The place cell gives test prep, mock talk, and resume help. After my degree, my plan is to get a dev or AI role first, then grow skills and later move to a higher tech role or MS study.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester (3rd year) onwards, and internships often start from the same time. The placement season runs in the final year with companies visiting from October to March. Big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle come for drives, and many smaller firms also hire. Highest packages reported recently are up to ?1.11 crore (mainly from Amazon), and average packages across engineering are around ?8–10 lakh per annum. Placement percentage is pretty high (80–95%) if a student actively participates and prepares well. Many students get placed on Day 1 itself during drives. Most offers are in software development, IT, data roles, consulting and product teams. Top companies also give super dream offers (10 LPA+) to a good chunk of students. In short: campus placements are strong for CSE/AI-ML if I prepare well. The support from the placement cell helps with training and interview prep, but final results still depend largely on my skills.
