Remarks

IIT Hyderabad is one of the best universities of India which is ranked among the top 10 best universities in India. The college placement is one of the best in India the college is known for its quality engineers. After clearing my JEE I appeared for JOSAA and was able to grab the seat in IIT Hyderabad. It was a dream for me to complete my B.Tech program from IIT Hyderabad as I have also worked very hard for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum follows all the latest regulations and all the industrial standards. The curriculum of the college is of top quality that helps us to develop our innovative skills and provides us with very good knowledge of engineering concepts. The faculty of the college is very good and probably the faculty of the college is best what I can say. The faculty are have PhD degree and they have completed their research work from very good universities in India even their research work is published in international journals too. The faculty teaching methods are very good and simple.

Internships Opportunities

The college has a very good internship program and we are ready for an internship program after completing the three years of our program. The college also provides stipends for internships and the average stipend for the internship program is 65k.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college are one of the best in the business and the reason for me to opt for IIT Hyderabad was its placement quality. The college maintains a record of 100% placement and every year the placement offers always increases as the highest salary offer made during our batch was around 55 LPA and the average salary offer was 18 LPA. The placement cell members are highly experienced and they guide very well during placement rounds.

The college scholarship is through MCM Scholarship, Institute SC/ST Scholarship, Institute Free Studentship Scholarship to know about the eligibility condition you can visit the college campus or the college official website.

Campus Life

The college is very good. The college provides very good research opportunities and a good environment for study. The college labs are modern. The college library is very good and we can find many national and international books to enhance our knowledge. The college infra is well maintained and the campus is always kept neat and clear. The guest faculty visit our campus for a guest lecture and their experiences with us which is a very good learning experience for us.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility of the college is one of the best in the business. The sports facility is also available like a basketball court, volleyball, court and many indoor games facility is also available. The hostel rooms are fully furnished and available for triple, double and single sharing. The hostel mess food quality is good. The hostel wardens are highly professional and the hostel staff is very well trained. The hostel security is also very good and 24 hours available.

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

NIAT - where learning and growing is fun

Likes

The teaching style and focus on practicals
More emphasis is given on coding and attending hackathons
Mentors and their constant support In building projects

Dislikes

The strict rules and pressure is real and can be frustrating sometimes
The infrastructure can be a bit better, like the building and space for games
There's very less extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Likes

As i joined into marri laxman reddy institute ,The campus is in a village bakcground it feels so nice to live over their .We do have several sports commisions in our college.
Our college provides sports facility and The campus was so hugee ,The infrastructure is very useful(i am talking about digital teaching lab equipments and all)
The teachers were so friendly with the students and the college has a perfect strcture category for every department .

Dislikes

The teachers were so nice but the college and teachers doesnt support student to enhace the student personal growth.The teachers were take the class by learning the ppt without any conceptutal representing
The infrastructure is good but thier is no maintainance in the college,Campus feels huge but it degradss interms of maintainance and enhance the campus intemrs of neatness .it feels so that after we return back from the holidays
Most importantly,the canteen food is worst.My friend face an incident that he got a dead frog in the manchurian rice.And the food is most coastly maintains low quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Yeah our clg faculty is so Supportive and knowledgeable
Our college good environment and good interaction
Our clg has better infrastructure like labs and library

Our college doesn’t conduct events frequently
The major one is placement opportunities should be improved
And also adminsrative process is slow sometimes

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

The faculty of the college is quite good
The college is in the middle of city which helps a lot
There is compulsion for 75℅ attendance and the college is open gate

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very poor.. Buildings and classrooms, benches, and computers used are very old
No sports and other extra-curricular activites and no provision for canteen
Campus is very boring.. Toilets are not clean.. The admin staff is very rude

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

The faculties are highly knowledgeable, understandable and are helpful in studies and they even mentor us in some important aspects.
Course curriculum is perfectly designed to prepare for any competitive exams that a student may be appearing.
There is not much academic pressure on students. They have ample of time to prepare for any competitive exams.

Dislikes

Management by the college and the faculties are not good
There are not much companies visiting campus. Majority of them are either for non-technical roles or are mass recruiters.
Campus crowd is not good for growth for any serious student.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Faculty will clear all your doubts whenever you want.
Organising social events and taking us to trips.
Faculty encouraging students to participate in various technical and social events.

Dislikes

The equipment in laboratory was not proper.
The faculty were not well trained and experienced.
Not taking us to industrial visits and sessions.

Placement Experience:

The training criteria for placements for students starts from third year.The top companies like IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture has visited our campus.The highest package offered was 20 lpa and average package offered is 3-4 lpa.50 percentage of the students will get placed in third year if not they'll get placed in 4 year.My plan after graduation is being a software engineer in a high profile company.

I chose this course because of my interest in computers and mainly AI, so I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is better but it can be improved. The qualification of the faculty here is PhD forest of the faculty and B.com for some assistant professors

I was looking for a college with good research and project activities. In my research, I found that IIIT Hyderabad is one of the most well-known names in research activity in the last 5 years the college has 195+ patents and has published 6000+ research journals. The college also provides one of the best programs for Artificial Intelligence as it also requires a lot of research activities. The placement of the college is also very good. So I decided to opt for IIT Hyderabad. The candidate must clear the GATE exam and must secure a minimum of 55% marks in the B.Tech program followed by the GD and PI round.
